What he is doing today
Steve Curtis lives with his wife and six children and continues to work in the financial planning arena. In 2004, Steve launched his new mission The Foundation for Life in Media. His internet ministry, LifeCommercials.com, “produces and delivers powerful messages about the impact of abortion on the unborn, their parents, siblings and our nation”.
Through dramatic, yet tasteful, commercials, Steve and his friend, Jim Anderson, provide to the viewer the appalling truth about the nightmare of abortion, including the fact that since “Roe v. Wade”, over fifty million babies have lost their lives. Through the internet and supporters’ purchase of air time, Steve and Jim have the ability to reach millions of mothers and fathers who are contemplating the termination of their child. After viewing the one minute commercials, one of which was made with actress Jennifer O’Neill, visitors to the site are sent to an ‘options’ screen where they can access CareNet which will give the mother personal insights and counsel as she approaches her dilemma. “Long ago I gave up the death penalty fight,” Steve told me. “I could spend a lifetime pursuing the cause and perhaps see one or two of the guilty pay for their crimes. Or, I can spend my energy and the days I have left on this earth saving the truly innocent.
To date the ministry started by Steve and Jim has helped save over 8,000 babies”.
